Taking Nuffield Digital...

It’s no surprise that COVID-19 was a disrupter to many of our clients’ 2020 plans.

Throughout the summer, Reverberate helped the Nuffield team deliver a series of virtual webinars, workshops and farm walks to a huge online audience. The Nuffield Farming Lecture was also postponed until 2021, with Professor Andrew Fearne giving an ‘update’ presentation via Zoom that drew over 150 live attendees, as well as over 300 views on YouTube afterward. As of December 3rd, 2020, this online content was viewed more than 11,000 times across YouTube and Facebook alone, helping to grow Nuffield’s reach across the agriculture industry in the UK and beyond.


Following on the success of these events it was decided that, for the first time in its long history, the Nuffield Farming Conference would be held virtually. The Conference was broken down into a series of “mini-conferences” held weekly for five weeks and hosted as Zoom webinars, each containing 3-4 Scholar presentations and a Q&A session. Reverberate helped administer the live events and rehearsals, and we created a series of promotional graphics to help spread the word about the change of plan.


As a result, the conference had its biggest live audience ever, with 654 people from across the UK and abroad listening in – a fantastic achievement for an event that normally hosts around 250 guests! Since being published, the recordings of the #NuffCon20 presentations have been watched 1,496 times (and counting)!
