The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust officially presented 2020 Scholars with their awards at the 2019 Nuffield Farming Conference, and they are an impressive bunch – in keeping with groups that preceded them.
But what makes this year extra special is that this 2020 Nuffield Scholar group includes the recipient of the Trust’s 1000thScholarship. Since its beginnings in 1947 Nuffield Farming has seen a lot of change, but their mission of identifying and developing the future leaders of UK food, farming and rural industries has remained constant.
To help mark the occasion, Reverberate travelled the UK to speak to Scholars from across the industry in order to create a celebratory video. By illustrating the impact Nuffield Scholarships have had on previous Scholars and Scholars’ impact on UK agriculture, the film also looks forward to the achievements and impact of future Scholars.
The video was revealed at this year’s Conference to announce and celebrate the launch of The Year of the 1000th Scholar and was very well received. (There may have been a few tears…). It, and other promotional materials, are going to be used at Nuffield Farming events throughout 2020, so be on the lookout for them across the UK!
